You owe it to yourself to download FireFox 3, the free alternative to Internet Explorer.
Why? It’s the responsible thing to do:
- Less chance of stinking up your church computer because it is safer against viruses than IE.
- Less chance of being “phished” and losing your privacy.
- Help set a Guinness Book of World Record‘s….uh, record for most downloads in a single day. Gotta do it by noon EST!
- AND IT IS FAST FAST FAST!!! Google Reader loads soooooo much faster that I got through my blog list faster…which leaves more time for Jesus.
Here’s a power user’s guide for the l33t readers of this blog.

okay, firefox guru, in IE, my default is to open several tabs at once at the startup. can I do that with firefox3?
Rev. Jeremy Smith
Yes, mine is set up that way! In the HOME PAGE line under OPTIONS, put in several web pages seperated by the | thingy.
Like http://www.google.com|www.cnn.com|etc

I use firefox 2, and I expected it to just update on its own. When I went to the download page it said “firefox 3 for developers.” Does that mean the program isn’t developed yet?
One thing I dislike about firefox is that I can’t copy something and then right click and paste it into the body of an email in yahoo. Maybe that’s remedied in 3!

Nathan, here’s the direct link: FireFox 3
I don’t know about the yahoo thing…you yahoo you.
