Are you sure that a worship service is the best way to gather people? I fear many of you guys almost immediately outgrow your ability to disciple and enfold the people you are gathering. The minute you achieve the “new cool church in town” status I’m concerned the maintenance requirements for these numbers will begin to tweak your model in an unwanted direction.

AT&T and Starbucks have finally rolled out their free WiFi plan to Starbucks Card users registered with AT&T. In exchange for letting AT&T send you up to 4 emails per year, you get a single WiFi session of up to 2-hours per day at any of Starbucks’ 7,000 or so US-based stores.

Very nice.Helpful tool for geographical and historical context. There’s something about seeing the places described in a story, even on a map, that helps get our minds into it.

I found biblemap.org last year. He’s really refined it since I was last there. It’s interesting to realize how close a lot of the cities in the Gospels were to each other, and how far the Apostles went.
